The Mount Vernon Baptist Temple is an independent, Bible-believing, Baptist church located in historic Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Our heart's desire is to share the gospel of Christ with each and every soul around us. We believe that is the responsiblity of all Christians, thus we direct our energies towards that goal.
Upon your first visit to the Mount Vernon Baptist Temple, you will notice that our church family is different. We are a friendly group of Christians that sincerely love, care and support one another. Our church has been blessed with significant growth over the past 8 years, yet it still has a folksy, hometown atmosphere.

Christ died for our sins that we might avail ourselves to the task of evangelizing our neighborhoods and serving in the many ministry opportunities at MVBT.
Ministry opportunites are available such as: Awana, Bus Ministry, Choir, Cleaning, Greeters, Junior Church, Meal Providers, Drama, Nursery, Musicians, Reformers Unanimous, Sound Booth, Soul Winner Trainers, Ushers and more.
If you cannot locate your MINISTRY INTEREST card, please stop by the church office and pick up another one.

Site Re-design in progress
Our web site is being completely redesigned and you currently are seeing only a subset of the total site. Over the next few weeks, many pages and features will be added as we finish our transition to the new server.
Why did we decide to redesign the site? Well, we needed a site that was easier to maintain, had additional features and would serve our church family by greatly improving communications. Look for new pages and regularly updated content in the near future.
