I was very blessed to grow up in a Christian home.  Early in life my parents had accepted Christ as their Savior and were faithful to church.  When I was seven I attended church with my grandmother.  I heard an evangelist preaching about hell  and not wanting to go there.  I asked my grandmother to show me how to trust Christ as my Savior.  She then led me to Christ.  

I had the wonderful opportunity to graduate from a Christian school and from a Christian college.  After working for Pensacola Christian College for two years, the Lord called my wife and me to Mansfield Baptist Temple to be the children's pastor.  After being at Mansfield for five years, the Lord then called us to Mount Vernon, Ohio.  It is here that I have had the privilege to serve as the senior pastor for the past ten years.
