Dear Church Family and Friends,

     One of the greatest joys of my life has been serving at the Mount Vernon Baptist Temple.  As I complete my first decade of ministry in this place, I am overwhelmed with how God has blessed us in the past.  At the same time,  I am excited beyond belief about the future vision that God has placed before us.  I truly believe that God's divine providence has brought us all to this place "for such a time as this."  This time may very well be the most important period in the history of our church.

     The "Together We Build" campaign is a means to help us reach our potential as a church ministry.  I am sure that you are aware of our need for a new building.  It is time for us to expand, or limit our growth potential.
